Since our inception in 1996, Deluxe Freight had a vision: to provide the highest quality of customer service to its customers.  With over 20 years of logistics experience, Deluxe Freight provides their exclusive service to the Cayman Islands with reliable, effective, and convenient transportation solutions.  Whether it’s by Ocean, Air, or Land, the objective has always been to provide the customer with a complete line of service options in which their cargo can be handled.

Insurance

Accidents Happen – Protecting your cargo with First Class Insurance Coverage. Deluxe Freight is committed to providing the highest level of economic protection for your cargo; this is why we cover all our clients through Seven Seas Insurance Company.  Founded in 1967, Seven Seas has set new standards for the cargo insurance industry by offering broad terms and conditions, competitive rates, with fast and efficient claim service. 

Their team of experienced underwriters and claims adjusters take personal interest in your insurance need.  Seven Seas has been awarded an A.M. Best Rating of A (Excellent).  This demonstrates excellent financial strength, operating performance and market profile with the insurance industry.  When shipping with Deluxe, we ensure all your cargo is treated and covered as if it was our own.  Contact us to find out more about our customized programs tailored to meet specific cargo insurance needs.

Insurance Protection Coverage commences from the time the goods leave the shipper and/or supplier's place of business and continues in force during the ordinary and customary course of transit to the destination. Insurance remains in force for fifteen (15) days after vessel discharge or upon delivery, whichever occurs first. Delivery is understood to be when the consignee, receiver, or anyone acting on behalf of the consignee takes possession of the goods. Proper packaging is a condition of cargo insurance. Concealed damage must be reported within three (3) business days of delivery. Shortages must be reported within one (1) calendar day of delivery. There is no deductible. There are guidelines, conditions, exclusions, and exceptions items that apply, please contact Deluxe for additional information. To ensure no delays in the processing of your claim, please provide relevant information to support your loss. You may file your claim online: https://sevenseasins.com/claims/. Damaged goods must be retained for presentation at time of settlement. In the event you wish to decline the cargo coverage, please notify Deluxe Freight in writing prior to date of export. If you decline insurance, please be advised that as per the Carriage of Goods by Sea Act, ocean carriers have a liability of $500 per customary shipping unit. A premium reflecting the cost of marine cargo insurance will be prominently displayed on the face of the bill of lading.

With our own modern and secure 27,000 square foot warehouse facility centrally located in Miami Florida, we offer our clientele over 50 years of cargo handling experience in warehousing.  The in-house dedicated warehouse team members are equipped with state of the art tools to help reduce errors and promote efficiency.  Our quick location system helps us identify where our customers cargo is located at all times and ensures our workflow of shipments continues to be not only accurate but extremely efficient while proving our cutstomers with the best possible care for their merchandise.  We deliver an outstanding array of warehouse services and benefits that include the following:
